Form Focus: Sculpting the Face Workshop
5/17, 2p-5p
Chicago, IL
Dip your toe into the richness of figurative sculpture with this face-focused workshop! Our patient instructors will lead the class through constructing faces via manipulating pinch pots. The cohort will work through building the bone structure, fat, flesh, and hair for their faces with expert support. Students will have time to construct their face and have the option of taking greenware home or leaving pieces to be bisqued and picked up later. Suitable for folks with a variety of clay experience who are looking to begin their figurative journey.
Prerequisites:
Two ceramics classes or six months of ceramic experience
